Just like with the Winter gallery, these are just some shapsots of Poland, seen by my eye&camera without any greater thought ;). This one - on the banks of Vistula river, Warsaw, with early signs of vegetation starting on raw, vild, Praga side. And just as the rest of the photos, all were taken in Poland during Covid Spring of 2021 with Fuji GFX 50R and various lenses, mostly manual Irix 45 and Mitakon 65.

One of the photographs from the series seeking living, far from museums, Polishness, untouched by the uniformization of the West, still somewhat exotic; starting from awakening willows fighting against expanding cities, through a flooded province stopped in motion, with patient people, signs of faith, products of Polish industry and everything that we associate with sentimentality with Poland, thats going into oblivion.

In times of ubiquitous averaging, globalization, this departing culture can be much more exotic than, for example, Asian tourist attractions full of the ubiquitous west, living more and more as an universal holiday attraction;
At first I only saw the car, old polish fiat, pristine condition, at 900 meters over sea level in Little Beskids mountain range. Yet it was only an atractor. True wonder lies futher ahead, warming the surroundings, greeting passing by souls.
You may already noticed it, a lot of the photos on my site were taken in Little Beskids, rather smaller mountain rage, and especially near Magurka peak and Wilkowice / “Wolf’sllage” village. There is no coincidence here, as this place is like my second home since like 8-9 years. And not only because of place alone but especially by people, or should I say friends&family I have there.

One of the photos from the series presenting infrared photography in situations where it seems to fit the space more than the color spectrum usual for the recipient. And yes, it’s not analogue but rather using rni profiles for capture one.
Maybe not meters but rather few kilometers. Still just few minutes away from Warsaw. Nothing spectacular as you can find these kind of rural places around almost every city, yet I found it calming to have it nearby.
